5R's Downing Street Visit

Cliff School's Downing Street visit

A major addition to this year's Year 5 residential to London was a trip down Downing Street. As a result of correspondence between Cliff Year 5 pupils and 10 Downing Street over the last few years we were invited to visit Downing Street and see personally where the letters went. The children posed for photos outside the famous address and even got the premier's police man to take photos for us. The children also visited many famous tourist attractions during the trip like the Science Museum, Globe Theatre, London Eye, Buckingham Place and we also popped into Portland Place School where we were made very welcome.
