Harvest Celebrations

Our celebrations this term took place on Jeans for Genes day so the children donated one pound to come to school in their Jeans.  All week they had been learning about genes and how their donation would help those with genetic disorders.  For our harvest table we collected used clothing instead of food produce.  Parents and friends were extremely generous and the school gym was filled with bags of clothes which Mr Bedford and some of the children delivered to Wakefield Hospice warehouse.

A wonderful total of £125.00 was raised for the Jeans for Genes charity.
