Entry Procedure
Following a request for a prospectus most parents book to come and see the school on a normal working day when they meet the Principal. This would be followed by completing a Registration Form which puts your child’s name on our entry lists.
Entry to the school is in the main non-selective so places are allocated according to when your child was registered and following a taster visit.
Prior to a place being formally offered, we invite your child into school for a visit. Children aged 2-3 years would normally come for a few hours or a morning or afternoon. Those of Reception age and upwards are welcome for the whole day. During their visit they will follow the normal routine of the class. Older children will be asked to read, write and do some number work so we can assess where they are in their learning.
Following a successful visit we will issue a formal offer of a place to start when requested which has to be signed by parents and returned to school with the appropriate deposit to secure the place.
Prior to actually starting we are happy to arrange further familiarization visits if required.

Parent & Toddler Group
We run a regular Friday morning parent and toddler group for under 3’s which is often used by our youngest starters to help familiarize them with the Nursery before starting. However, all prospective and current parents with children aged 0 to 3 years are welcome to attend this group which runs from 9.00am to 10.30am every Friday during term time in our Nursery.
